The IDF has conducted strikes against Hamas terrorists operating from a hospital in Gaza, as Edan Alexander undergoes medical evaluation following his release from captivity. Prime Minister Netanyahu has warned that unprecedented actions are imminent in Gaza.
Rachel and Jon Goldberg-Polin, parents of Hersh Goldberg-Polin, expressed their relief and solidarity with the Alexander family, celebrating Edan’s return. In a heartfelt message, Jon shared how their families have formed a deep bond since the October 7 massacre. "Today, we are celebrating with all of you," he said. Rachel echoed this sentiment, saying, "We are so happy and relieved that you are home, welcome home."
They also called for continued efforts to secure the return of the remaining 58 hostages still held in Gaza. Hersh, a dual citizen like Edan, was kidnapped from the Nova music festival on October 7 and later found murdered in Hamas tunnels along with five others. Despite their loss, the Goldberg-Polins remain committed to advocating for the release of all hostages, acknowledging the ongoing trauma for families awaiting their loved ones' return.
