RAMON AIR BASE, ISRAEL — Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Sunday fiercely criticized the United Nations, accusing the organization of spreading “lies” about Israel’s role in restricting aid to Gaza. Speaking from the Israel Air Force’s Ramon Air Base, Netanyahu stated that Israel has always permitted a minimal level of humanitarian assistance into the enclave and that this practice is now “official.”
“The UN is using this as an excuse to fabricate a narrative against Israel,” Netanyahu declared. “We have allowed aid to pass through secured corridors — we always have. Now, there are no more excuses.”
The prime minister reaffirmed that Israel would continue limited humanitarian support, but emphasized that the nation remains committed to its core war objectives: the destruction of Hamas and the release of hostages. He underscored that pressure would persist through ongoing military operations and diplomatic negotiations.
“We will keep fighting and operating until we achieve full victory,” Netanyahu said.
Meanwhile, humanitarian aid was seen being airdropped over Gaza, offering a visible sign of continued delivery efforts amid the conflict.
Defense Minister Katz Issues Warning to Iran’s Khamenei
In a parallel development, Defense Minister Israel Katz delivered a direct and forceful warning to Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, suggesting that continued threats against Israel could result in a personal retaliation.
“I have a message for the dictator Khamenei: if you keep threatening Israel, our long arm will reach Iran once again — this time with greater force, and it will reach you personally,” Katz said. “Do not provoke us, or you will suffer the consequences.”
U.S. Ambassador Huckabee Joins the Debate
U.S. Ambassador Mike Huckabee also weighed in via X (formerly Twitter), commenting on Israel’s role in supplying aid to Gaza and criticizing international narratives that, in his view, empower Hamas.
“Is the UN, New York Times, and Hamas all happy now?” Huckabee wrote. “Their lies destroyed a ceasefire, undermined the effective GHF aid effort, emboldened Hamas, and prolonged the grief of hostage families.”
In a follow-up post, Huckabee added: “Why would Hamas oppose the GHF method? Because it was efficient and hard to loot? Right. And Jeffrey Dahmer was a master chef.”
