The Israel Defense Forces (IDF), in coordination with the Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency), announced on Tuesday the elimination of a senior terrorist from the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) and two Hamas operatives in precision strikes in Gaza.
Ali Naddal Husni Sarfiti, a PFLP operative, was killed in an airstrike in Gaza City. Sarfiti had previously served a prison sentence in Israel from 2002 to 2015 for his involvement in multiple terror attacks, military training, and for planning a suicide bombing. Since his release, he had resumed terrorist activity, including coordinating with operatives in the West Bank and transferring millions of shekels to fund attacks.
In separate strikes, the IDF also killed Saʿid Abu Hasnan, a member of Hamas's elite Nukhba unit from the Deir el-Balah Brigade, who took part in the October 7 invasion of Kissufim, and Mustafa al-Mutawwak, a Hamas operative from the Jabalya Brigade involved in planning attacks against Israeli forces in Gaza.
The military stated that Hasnan played a direct role in orchestrating the Kissufim assault, further emphasizing the targeted nature of these operations.
